RATHA'S CURRY PASTE is a pure Malaysian product. The name, Ratha, is short for Mr. Rathakrishnan, who is the founder that owns the secret recipe or ingredients of these exotic curry pastes. Incidentally, Ratha also operates an Indian Curry restaurant that had his humble beginnings in Raub back in 1981, which is both a town and district located in Pahang, Malaysia. It is about 110 km from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. In 1997, the second Ratha's restaurant was established at Goh Tong Jaya, Genting Highland, and the third, at Bentong, Pahang.

Ratha Restaurant is renowned for their delicious and mouth-watering dishes like its fish head curry, chicken curry, lamb curry and many more. The curries are so good in this restaurant that it is also frequented amongst others, by members of the Parliament and the royalty as well. Rathakrishnan has taken great care in the preparation of his Ratha’s Curry Pastes to give them the same taste that is as close as possible to those that you get from his restaurant itself. In ensuring quality consistency and that customer’s satisfaction is achieved, the manufacturing process is supervised by Mr. and Mrs. Rathakrishnan themselves and the highest quality of raw material is used. The ingredients in each pack are so comprehensive that you do not even need to add any salt or sugar for taste. To maintain the freshness and durability of the products, a newer technology called retorting is used. Ratha's Curry Paste is "Halal" certified and no preservative or artificial coloring is added.

1 BOX 380g RATHA'S FISH HEAD CURRY PASTE (ID: RCP1)


Ingredients:              Chili Powder, Curry Powder, Fennel, Coriander Powder, Garlic, Onion,
                                  Tamarind, Salt, Sugar, Palm Oil and Coconut Cream
Serving size:             1 aluminium sealed bag with net weight of 380g / 13.40oz

Preparation:
1 packet of paste > 1 kg of fish head (cut into half) > 750ml or 3 tea cups of water > 5 ladies finger and choice of vegetables > 2 tomatoes > 3 or 4 green chilies > curry leaves > 6 tablespoon coconut cream or evaporated milk.
Cooking method:
1) Add water and fish head into the pot or claypot, cover and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
2) Add in paste and all the vegetables, cover and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
3) Add in the coconut cream or milk, bring to boil and serve.
